Terms of Service
1. The Service
AppKeep is a monitoring dashboard for Expo and React Native apps, operated by Foxxception LLC ("we", "us"). It connects to your GitHub account to read package manifests from your repositories, tracks dependency freshness, monitors Apple App Store and Google Play reviews, tracks revenue metrics via RevenueCat, and runs optional AI-powered analysis using API keys that you provide. By creating an account or using AppKeep, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You sign in with GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your GitHub account secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.
3. Billing
- The paid plan is $9/month, billed via Stripe. A free tier covering one app is available.
- Waitlist members receive their first year at $5/month, as promised at signup.
- You can cancel anytime through the Stripe billing portal linked from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not issue refunds for partial months. If we ever materially break something on our end, email us and we will make it right.
- Prices may change; we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice before any price increase applies to them.
4. Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK)
AI analysis features run against LLM provider API keys that you supply (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Perplexity, or a custom endpoint). Those keys are yours: you are responsible for the provider's fees, rate limits, and terms of service. We encrypt your keys at rest (AES-256-GCM) and use them only to make the analysis requests you trigger. We are not liable for charges your provider bills you for usage initiated through AppKeep.
5. Acceptable Use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to access other users' data, no reverse-engineering our systems to attack them, no using AppKeep to violate GitHub's, Apple's, Google's, RevenueCat's, or your LLM provider's terms, and no automated scraping of the service itself. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
6. Your Data
Your repositories, reviews, and revenue data remain yours. We store only the metadata needed to provide the service — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@foxxception.com.
7. Availability
AppKeep is an independent product run by a small team. We work hard to keep it up, but uptime is provided on a best-effort basis with no SLA. Features may change, and we may perform maintenance with or without notice.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Dependency alerts, review sentiment, health scores, and AI-generated analysis are informational aids, not guarantees — always verify before acting on them. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on data shown in AppKeep.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foxxception LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data.
10. Termination
You may stop using AppKeep and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we will delete your stored data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law & Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Foxxception LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions? Email support@foxxception.com.
